Student Food Security Fund
Across Canada, monthly food bank visits have surged to 1.9 million—a 32% increase in just one year and nearly 80% higher than before the pandemic. And that crisis is being felt right here at Humber, where almost two-thirds of students who responded to a recent survey said food costs were a worry. These pressures add stress on top of already heavy workloads and often leave students struggling to keep up. But you can help change that right now by making a gift to Humber's Student Food Security Fund. Your donation will help provide much-needed support in the form of on-campus subsidies, bursaries, grocery gift cards and the Grab & Go Food Bank, among other initiatives, ensuring students can focus on their successful futures, not hunger.
Updates
1This semester, we've provided food assistance to over 150 students. The need continues to grow, and your support is essential. We've also launched a new partnership with local farms to provide fresh produce. Students are so grateful for the healthy options. Thank you for making this possible!
